since 1992. Save Our Springs Alliance (SOS) is the only public interest legal group dedicated to protecting the Edwards Aquifer, its springs, and contributing streams throughout the Hill Country. The rapid growth the Hill Country continues to experience, and the increasing risk of drought due to climate change, threaten to diminish the Edwards Aquifer’s quality and quantity of water.

SOS, through education, advocacy, and legal action, works to enhance local, state, and federal regulations to protect the Edwards Aquifer from over-pumping, overdevelopment, and pollutant contamination.
